RUSSIA
According to Soyuzrossahar, 93.7 thousand ha (9.9% of the forecast) were sown with sugar beets in the Russian Federation as of March 24, (4.5 thousand ha in 2019).
BELARUS
The revenue of the Zhabinka Sugar Plant last year decreased by 19.7% to Br 134.89 million (Bel roubles) (RUR 4.17 billion). The cost of sales decreased by 23.5% to Br 116.48 million (RUR 3.60 billion). Profit from sales increased by 71.3% to Br 6.3 million (about 195 million). Net profit in the end amounted to Br 1.4 million (RUR 43.31 million rubles) against Br 16 million (about RUR 495 million) of net loss in 2018.
