Export and import of white sugar in January - October 2019 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in October 2019 Russia has imported 9.9 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 10 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 278.1 thousand tons (in 2018 - 234.0 thousand MT; in 2017 - 219.3 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (89.23%) and POLAND (5.73%).

In October 2019 Russia has exported 84.8 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 10 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 353.1 thousand tons (in 2018 - 313.5 thousand MT; in 2017 - 329.8 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2019, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were KAZAKHSTAN (35.47%) and BELARUS (15.52%).
