RUSSIA
Group of Companies "Rusagro" has published financial results of sugar department for the first quarter of 2015. Sales of sugar have made RUR 4799 mln (+ 7% vs. 2014), gross profit RUR 2817 mln (+ 81% vs. 2014). Sugar production has totaled 87 thousand tons (-3% vs. 2014), sales of sugar have totaled 111 thousand tons (-63% vs. 2014). The report marks the shutdown of "Rzhevsky Sakharnik" in 2013 and total investments in sugar segment of RUR 349 million in the 1st quarter of 2015.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated May 26, 2015, total 13 vessels have been nominated to carry 446 450 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 317 350 MT from 9 vessels, based on sugar.ru
ARMENIA
There are no restrictions on sugar imports to Armenia, Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan has told. Sugar imports to Armenia are performed by mainly one company "Alex-Grig", which accounts for 99.9% of national sugar imports.
