RUSSIA
Over the past week, April 28 – May 5, 2015, Russian consumer prices for sugar fell by 0.6%, according to Rosstat. From the beginning of May 2015, consumer prices for sugar fell by 0.4%, while from the beginning of the year the growth has made total 13.1%.

According to the Federal Customs Service, Russia has imported 235,300 tons of raw sugar for the total value of US$ 93.7 million in January-March 2015, which is 32.9% less than in 2014. Imports of white sugar to Russia in January -March 2015 amounted to 66,400 tons (1.6 times more than in 2014), totalling US$ 39.4
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, price of sugar from producers fell by 1.2% in April 2015; from the beginning of the year the price has increased by 24.3%.
