RUSSIA
In the 2021/2022 season, the sugar factories of the Rusagro Group of Companies operated for up to 130 days and produced 754 thousand tons of sugar. During the season, Rusagro plants have processed 4.85 million tons of sugar beets, including 3.58 million tons supplied by Rusagro's agricultural business, with an average sucrose conent of 19%. Before the start of the next season, Rusagro plans to produce about 122,000 tons of sugar from molasses.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the analysis of data by the Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, for December 2021 average consumer sugar prices were 70.78 KGS / kg (+1.89% compared to the previous month, +30.53% YTD and +30.53% by December 2020) or 60.04 rubles / kg at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the middle of the reporting month.
