The sugar beet harvesting campaign is over; 9.2 million tons of beet harvested from 216 thousand hectares.

The enterprises of "Astrata" have completed the agricultural production season in 2020; 1.5 million tons of sugar beet were harvested. The average gross yield of sugar beet is 42.9 MT/ha; sugar content is 17%. The company's sugar factories produced almost 226 thousand tons of sugar (22% of the total production in Ukraine). The share of sugars of the highest category increased to 99% in Astarta (95.5% in 2019), including about 70 thousand tons of extra-class sugar.
