RUSSIA
The Rusagro group of companies started the sugar beet processing season - on September 4, the first plant in the Tambov Region was launched. All factories are already in operation, except for one, which will be launched in a week.

According to the analytical service of Soyuzrossahar, over 550 thousand tons of beet sugar have been produced in Russia since the beginning of the production season. To date, 50 out of 69 factories are operating.
UKRAINE
As of September 15, 10.0 thousand tons of sugar were produced out of 97.0 thousand tons of sugar beet processed. Start-up of Ukrainian sugar factories in MY 2019/2020 (as of September 14, 2020):
- September 5 - LLC “Radekhovskiy sugar” (Radekhovskiy production);
- September 10 - LLC "Tsukoragroprom" branch of PP "Yareskovsky sugar plant";
- September 12 - PJSC "Chervonsky tsukrovik".
