According to the analytical service of Soyuzrossahar, as of July 11, the average beetroot weight in Russia was 165 g, in 2019 – 179 g, in 2018 – 133 g, and weight of tops – 244 g, in 2019 – 209 g, in 2018 – 166g, the press service of Soyuzrossahar reports.

On July 14, Rusagro-Sahar LLC has applied with four claims to the arbitration court of the Tambov Region against the Tambov, Voronezh, Moscow and Tula confectioneries, which are part of the United Confectioners group of companies. The total monetary volume of claims amounted to more than RUR 62.6 million.
