An abnormally high temperature is observed in central Russia, which negatively affects the growth of all the crops sown, according to Prodimex specialists. Sugar beet so far can stand the heat, and if rain occur in the next 7-10 days, there will be no decrease in yield.
UZBEKISTAN
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree “On measures to further streamline the provision of tax and customs benefits,” according to which agricultural producers who are payers of the single land tax will have the right to switch to value-added tax (VAT) on a voluntary basis from August 1, 2019. Additionally from the same date, the value-added tax exemption is cancelled, including when importing raw sugar.
