RUSSIA

The Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade will develop amendments to the technical regulations, according to which all heavy trucks must be equipped with mandatory axial load sensors by 2022.

UKRAINE

It is planned to construct a 3000 kW biogas complex adjacent to the sugar plant of LLC Ukrainian Sugar Company - the raw material supplier, for the production of ecological thermal energy, according to Ukrainian press.

MOLDOVA

According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure of Moldova, the quota for sugar supplies within the framework of the export regime provided to the EU for products with tax exemption was utilized by 75% (27.9 thousand tons out of 37.4 thousand tons) in 2018 (data as of December 11).

BELARUS

UZBEKISTAN

Sugar production in Uzbekistan has decreased by 85.5 percent in 2018 in real terms compared to the previous year and amounted to 68.8 thousand tons, in monetary terms - by 82.2 percent to 302.9 billion soums ($ 36.3 million), the sugar demand of Uzbek market is estimated around 800 thousand tons, with an annual growth of 3-5 percent, writes the local press.
