According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated September 25, 2018, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 368894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 300894 MT from 8 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of September 24, 2018, sugar beet was collected from the area of 424.4 thousand hectares or 38.3% of the crop acreage (in 2017 - 361.1 thousand hectares). According to Soyuzrossahar, as of September 24, 2018, total 424.4 thousand hectares of sugar beet (37.7% of the crop area) were harvested at an average yield of 34.6 MT/ha. In 2017 on this date, 412.4 thousand hectares were harvested.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, by September 20, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 0.6 thousand hectares or 3.4% of the harvest area. The average yield is 55.09 MT/ ha, which is higher by 7.59 MT/ha compared to the level of previous year. Gross harvest amounted to 30.3 thousand tons and (+11.3 thousand tons by 2017).
GEORGIA
According to the analysis of National Statistics Office of Georgia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, in August 2018 the import of white sugar (HS code 170199) has made $3.4 million ($4.6 million in 2017). Totally in for January - August 2018 Georgia imported white sugar for $27.1 million ($28.3 million in 2017). Export of white sugar in January - August 2018 has made $113.4 thousand, total for 8 months 2018 - $171.9 thousand (in 2017 - $1.4 million).

Totally in for January - August 2018 Georgia imported cane raw sugar for $16.0 million ($14.1 million in 2017).
