RUSSIA

In addition to the Novokubansky (Dominant) and Gulkevichi sugar refineries (both - Krasnodar Territory) that had been launched earlier, the Kurganinsky (Pokrovsky) and the Leningradsky (Dominant) sugar plant began to accept beets of a new crop. Novopokrovsky (Dominant) plant is expected to start tomorrow; Tikhoretsky and Vyselkovsky plants (both owned by Agrocomplex Tkachev) – by August 10. The launch of Timashevsky and Kanevsky sugar plants (both Pokrovsky), as well as Ust-Labinsk (AgroHolding "Kuban") are scheduled for August 15.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated August 7, 2018, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 368894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 269694 MT from 7 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

BELARUS

According to the Sugar.Ru monitoring data, in the first 7 months of 2018 Belarus exported 85.7 thousand tons of white sugar transit Russia, the main importers were Kazakhstan - 68.9%, Tajikistan - 12.4%, Uzbekistan - 11%.
