According to the data of Rosstat, processed by Sugar.Ru, the stocks of sugar with the wholesale trade increased to 173669.2 tons in February 2018 (+ 8.35% against the previous month and + 65.88% against February last year).

MOLDOVA
According to information received by Sugar.Ru from the Statkom of the Republic of Moldova, upon the results of 2017 the gross harvest of sugar beet amounted to 830 thousand tons with an average yield of 36.32 MT/ha. Total refined sugar production volume in 2017 has made 129 thousand tons (+ 29% by 2016); production of sugar confectionery has made 13.3 thousand tons.
BELARUS
Skidel Sugar Refinery has finished 2017 operational year with a net loss of 18.55 million Belarusian rubles (40.31 million Russian rubles) against net profit of 156 thousand Belarusian rubles (339.02 thousand Russian rubles) in 2016.
