RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, on 7 November 2017 sugar beet was harvested from an area of 1057.3 thousand hectares in Russia or 89.9% of crop acreage (in 2016 – 1.0 mln ha)

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated November 8, 2017, total 22 vessels have been nominated to carry 777020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 642020 MT from 18 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
According to the quarterly report of Astarta holding company, in the first 9 months of 2017, sugar segment revenues increased to€ 156 million (+56%) as a result of a 40% increase in sales and a 10% increase in sugar prices. Export have made total 143 000 tons of sugar, since the beginning of the current sugar season, the company factories produced more than 260,000 tons of sugar.
ARMENIA
In Armenia the average consumer price for sugar decreased by 2.5% in October 2017 compared to previous month, the National Statistical Committee of Armenia reports.
