RUSSIA
Sugar factories in Krasnodar region have produced more than 500 000 tons of sugar, according to the regional Ministry of Agriculture. 16 sugar factories of the region have accepted 4 628 thousand tons of beet; have processed – 4 323 thousand tons and have produced – 525.4 thousand tons of sugar and 126.9 thousand tons of dried pulp.

For the first time farmers have received yield of sugar beet of 32.92 MT/ha in Ulyanovsk region, in the agricultural field office reports. Beet was harvested from 3 404 hectares (or 23.1% of the forecast).

"Management Company" Region-Yug" will again auction the property of the bankrupted plant "Kuban Giray Sugar" as the first two auctions were cancelled due to lack of applications. The cost dropped from 2.1 billion rubles to 707 million rubles. DC on beet of the sugar factory is 3 800 tons of raws and was affiliate of "Euroservice" holding. In 2008 the factory was declared bankrupt.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture update of September 22, 2016, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 313.9 (in 2015 – 348.6) thousand hectares (28.3% of the crop area). Volume collected makes13.6 million tons.

By September 23, Belgorod region has harvested sugar beet from 16 793 hectares (22% of the total acreage). At an average yield of 48.2 MT/ha (in 2015 – 35.5 MT/ha) bulk harvest has reached 809 018 tons (in 2015 – 716.4 thousand tons), according to the regional Agribusiness Department.
UKRAINE
From the beginning of the season and by September 22, 2016 the country has produced 210,7 thousand tons of sugar, according to "Ukrtsukor". From the beginning of the season the 30 plants have processed 1 555.2 thousand tons of sugar beet.
BELARUS
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from the area of 25.1 (in 2015 – 24.5) thousand hectares (26.5% of the crop area) by September 23. Bulk harvest makes 1 017.9 thousand tons (in 2015 – 657.7 thousand tons) of beets with yields of 40.55 MT/ha (in 2015 – 26.82 MT/ha). Sucrose content makes 16.76% (17.58% on September 23, 2015).

According to "Belsahar", the country has manufactured the first 100 thousand tons of refined sugar from the new crop by September 22. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus the area harvested has reached 25% (in 2015 – 23%on same day) of the national sugar beet acreage; the average yield makes 40.69 MT/ha (in 2015 – 26.71 MT/ha) with sucrose content of 16.73% (in 2015 –17.59%).
