RUSSIA
According Soyuzrossakhar, the volume of sugar beet processed has made 6,9 mln MT (6,1 mln MT in 2015) and the volume of beet sugar produced – 828,0 thousand MT as of September 12 (the same volumes as in 2015).

NCSP Group informs that the volume of sugar transshipment amounted to 522 000 tons in January- August 2016, which is 155 000 tons (or 22.9%) less than in 2015.

According Soyuzrossakhar, from the end of July 2016 the national sugar industry has processed 6 867.7 thousand MT of sugar beet (11.7% more than last year) with 828 thousand MT of white sugar produced (at the level of the previous year). The wholesale price of sugar decreased by 2.7%, retail - by 1.6% in the period September 6 to 12, 2016. Imports of raw sugar in 2016 (as of 21 August 2016) are 2.3 times less than in 2015.

As of September 19 Belgorod region has harvested sugar beet from 12 797 hectares (17% of the total crop acreage). At an average yield of 47.5 MT/ha (in 2015 - 35.5 MT/ha), bulk harvest makes 607 615 tons (in 2015 – 634 731 t), the regional Department of agribusiness reported.

According Soyuzrossahar, from the start of the production season and by September 19, Russia has produced over 1.0 mln MT of beet sugar. In 2015 and 2014 the first million MT of sugar was manufactured on September 17 and 22 respectively.
UKRAINE
According to the "Ukrtsukor" there are 6 sugar factories processing beet in the Vinnitsa region as of September16. The average sugar content of sugar beet is 19%; contamination - 8.6%. High quality of performance is added by good average yield - 49 MT/ha (higher by 5 MT/ha than the national average). Sugar beets were harvested from an area of 7 500 ha (14% of the forecast).

By September 16 the country has produced 119,4 thousand tons of sugar, according to "Ukrtsukor". Daily operational rates are as follows: processing – 92.5 thousand tons of sugar beet and sugar production – 13.2 thousand tons.

According to Ministry of Agrarian Policy of the country, sugar beet was harvested from an area of over 25 thousand ha or 8%; bulk harvest makes 1.1 million MT, as of September 16.

On September 16 the wholesale price of sugar has established at the level of UAH 12.70-13.50 / kg. (RUR 31.90- RUR 33.91 kg - Sugar.Ru), "Ukrtsukor" informs. US dollar price has increased from USD 477-507/MT (RUR 31 002-32 952/MT) on September 9 up to USD 485-515/MT (RUR 31 522-33 472 per MT) on September 16.
BELARUS
According to the Ministry of Agriculture data of September 19, 2016, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 20.8 thousand hectares or 21.9% of the cultivated area (in 2015 - 19.3 thousand ha). Volume collected makes 850 000 tons (in 2015 - 512.9 thousand tons) of beets, with yields of 40.88 MT/ha (in 2015 – 26.62 MT/ha). Sucrose content in beet - 16.53% (17.64% on the same date in 2015)
