The duty on import of raw sugar to the Eurasian Customs Union remains at $140/MT in July 2023. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the ICE stock exchange was $545,81/MT in June 2023, respectively, the import duty in August 2023 will remain at the level $140/MT.
Up to December 31, 2023, sugar imported into the Russian Federation is exempted from import customs duty – for the total volume of not more than 100 thousand tons, Belarus - no more than 100 thousand tons as well, for Kazakhstan - no more than 350 thousand tons, for Kyrgyzstan - no more than 50 thousand tons.
