Export and import of white sugar in January - October 2020 (FCS)

According to the analysis of customs declarations of FCS conducted by Sugar.ru, in October 2020 Russia has imported 18.4 thousand tons of white sugar (HS code 170199). According to the results of 10 months of white sugar import campaign, Russia has shipped in 148.1 thousand tons (in 2019 - 278.4 thousand MT; in 2018 - 234.0 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2020, the main countries exporters of white sugar to Russia were BELARUS (98.20%) and AZERBAIJAN (0.50%).

In October 2020 Russia has exported 31.9 thousand tons of white sugar. According to the results of 10 months of white sugar export campaign, Russia has shipped out 973.1 thousand tons (in 2019 - 365.0 thousand MT; in 2018 - 313.5 thousand MT).
In the period January - October 2020, the main countries importers of white sugar from Russia were UZBEKISTAN (23.22%) and KAZAKHSTAN (22.04%).
