The Russian government has established exceptions for agreements between producers on the export of sugar outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union for the next 5 years. The relevant government decree comes into force on April 28. The document states that producers of white sugar or raw beet sugar will be able to create associations for the export of these products. The author of the initiative is the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS). It is established that agreements between manufacturers, as well as export volumes, must be previously agreed with the FAS.
