RUSSIA
According to Rosstat data, processed by Sugar.Ru, 1.6 million tons of white sugar was produced in the Russian Federation in September 2019 (2.9 times compared to the previous month and +6% compared to September 2018).

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of November 1, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 1 million hectares or 88.8% of the area sown (in 2018 - 1 million hectares), 47 million tons of beet collected (in 2018 – 38.1 million tons); average yield is 46.19 MT/ha (in 2018 – 36.84 MT/ha).
UKRAINE
As of November 4, 2019, total 6.17 million tons of beets were processed and 909.58 thousand tons of sugar produced, Ukrtsukor reports.

By November 1, 2019 Ukrainian farmers have harvested sugar beets from an area of 178 thousand hectares, or 81% of the forecast, and collected 7.8 million tons at an average yield of 43.8 MT/ha, according to the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
BELARUS
By November 5, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 88.6 thousand hectares or 95% of the area sown (in 2018 - 95.1 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 4506.5 thousand MT (in 2018 - 4526.2 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 50.89 MT/ha (in 2018 – 47.58 MT/ha). The sugar content in beet in the republic is 16.82% versus 16.94% for the same date last year.

Slutsk sugar refinery published operational report for the three quarters. The plant’s profit from sales doubled to 25.8 million Bel rubles (RUR 0.8 billion). Net profit as a result has increased nine-fold and amounted to 15.08 million Bel rubles (RUR 0.47 billion). Over the past three years, the Slutsk Sugar Refining Plant has remained the only one of four Belarusian sugar factories that has consistently demonstrated profitable operation.
ARMENIA
According to the analysis of Statkom of Armenia, conducted by Sugar.Ru, production of sugar decreased over the month by 100.00% in September 2019 and has made 0.0 thousand tons (in previous month - 14.9 thousand tons, in September 2018 - 0.0 thousand tons, in September 2017 - 0.0 thousand tons). Total 60 thousand tons of sugar have been produced in January-September 2019 (in January-September 2018 - 58 thousand tons).
