RUSSIA

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of September 26, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 421.5 thousand ha or 36.8% of the crop acreage, total 18.4 million tons of beet collected (in 2018 - 15.8 million tons) the average yield makes 43.67 MT/ha (in 2018 – 34.47 MT/ha).

UKRAINE

By September 26, 2019, Ukrainian farmers have harvested sugar beet from an area of 36 thousand ha or 17% of the forecast and collected 1.6 million tons; average yield makes 44.5 MT/ha, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine reports. As of September 25, total 1 095.4 thousand tons of beets were processed and 145.9 thousand tons of sugar produced, Ukrtsukor reports.

BELARUS

By September 27, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 30.3 thousand hectares or 32.3% of the area sown (in 2018 - 28.2 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1374.6 thousand MT (in 2018 - 1201.6 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 45.34 MT/ha (in 2018 – 42.65 MT/ha). The beet sugar content in the republic is 16.39% versus 16.29% for the same date last year.
