UKRAINE

As of September 18, 2019 Ukrainian agrarians in 10 regions have started harvesting sugar beets, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine. The crop was collected from an area of 12 thousand hectares (or 6% of the forecast); 558 000 tons of beets were harvested at average yield of 45.77 MT/ha.

BELARUS

By 19 September, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 20 thousand hectares or 21.3% of the area sown (in 2018 - 18.5 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 903.5 thousand MT (in 2018 - 772.1 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 45.15 MT/ha (in 2018 – 41.79 MT/ha). The beet sugar content in the republic is 16.11% versus 16.11% for the same date last year.
