As of August 30, 2019, sugar beets were harvested from an area of 101.6 thousand ha or 8.9% of the crop acreage (82.2 thousand ha in 2018), 4.4 million tons of crops collected (in 2018 - 2.9 million tons) at an average yield of 43.19 MT/ha (in 2018 – 35.52 MT/ha).
KYRGYZSTAN
It is planned to produce 123.5 thousand tons of sugar in Kyrgyzstan in 2019, according to the medium-term forecast of socio-economic development of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2020-2022.

CUSTOMS UNION
The duty on import of raw sugar to the Customs Union remains at $ 250/MT in September 2019. The average monthly price for raw sugar at the ICE stock exchange was $ 254,83/MT in August 2019, respectively, the import duty in October 2019 will remain at the level - $ 250/MT.
