RUSSIA

A station for the production of granulated pulp is planned for construction at Chishminsky sugar factory. The total investment volume makes 452 million rubles, of which 202 million is the company's own funds and 250 million – third party investments. The scope of the project includes pulp presses, drying equipment, a warehouse and equipment for granulation of the finished product. The projected capacity of the station will enable processing of up to 400 thousand tons of raw pulp, which remains from the processing of sugar beet. It is planned that the first batch for export will be sent in mid-2020.

UKRAINE

According to Statkom of Ukraine figures, conducted by Sugar.Ru, wholesale price of sugar increased over the month by 1.21% in May 2019 and has made 14.25 UAH/kg (in previous month - 14.08 UAH/kg, in May 2018 - 14.83 UAH/kg). Russian rouble equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has increased over the month by 4.57% in May 2019 and has made 35.55 RUB/kg (in previous month - 33.99 RUB/kg, in May 2018 - 35.00 RUB/kg). USD equivalent price (at the exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank for the middle of the reporting month) has increased over the month by 3.31% in May 2019 and has made 0.544 USD/kg (in previous month - 0.527 USD/kg, in May 2018 - 0.567 USD/kg)

KYRGYZSTAN

According to the analysis of data by the Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, for May 2019 average consumer sugar prices were 46.69 KGS / kg (-0.62% compared to the previous month, -2.47% YTD and -0.38% by May 2018) or 43.56 rubles / kg at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the middle of the reporting month.
