RUSSIA
The Dobrinsky Sugar Plant (Sucden, Lipetsk) intends to invest more than 500 million rubles in 2019 for the modernization of production, including the construction of additional warehouses for the storage of pulp and finished products, the regional administration reports.

Prodimex is investing 336 million rubles in the construction of a packing department at the Pereleshinsky sugar factory. The capacity of the shop in the first stage - up to 300 tons of packaging per day. Construction of the facility was demanded by the growth of plant daily DC on beet 3 to 6 thousand tons.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to official data of the Bureau of national statistics of Kazakhstan, in 2018 Kazakhstan received 177 thousand tons of sugar (HS 1701) from non-EAEU countries, of which 161 thousand tons is raw sugar (Brazil and Cuba), and 16 thousand MT of white sugar supplied from Poland (13 thousand tons) and the Netherlands (3 thousand tons).
UKRAINE
According to the official data of the Federal Customs Service of Ukraine, in 2018 the country delivered of 20517 tons white sugar (HS 170199) to the EEU countries, incl. 12960 tons to Armenia, 5835 tons to Kyrgyzstan and 1656 tons to Russia. Thus, according to open data, imports of white sugar by the countries of the EAEU from outside the CU can be estimated at 36.4 thousand tons in 2018.

According to Soyuzrossahar, in two months of 2019, Ukraine exported more than 11 thousand tons to the EEU countries, which is 2 thousand tons more than in November-December 2018. The main importing countries are the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Armenia, 8.0 and 0.4 thousand tons, respectively.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the analysis of data by the Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, for February 2019 average consumer sugar prices were 47.12 KGS / kg (-0.76% compared to the previous month, -1.58% YTD and +0.64% by February 2018) or 44.93 rubles / kg at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for the middle of the reporting month.
