RUSSIA
According to Soyuzrossahar, total 322.0 thousand hectares were sown as of April 24, (in 2017 - 614.6 thousand hectares). The farms of the Southern Federal District have completed the sowing campaign. With total 222.5 thousand hectares sown with sugar beet.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of April 24, 2018, sugar beet was sown on an area of 322.1 thousand hectares or 29.4% of the forecast (in 2017 - 629.4 thousand hectares).
UKRAINE
According to the data analysis from the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine in 2 months (January - February) of 2018, the export of white sugar (HS 170199) amounted to 76,362 tons. The main importers of white sugar from Ukraine were Turkey (19,353 tons), Uzbekistan (17 409) and Libya (11,559). Export of molasses (HS 1703) has made 8,104 tons, the main importer molasses from Ukraine is Hungary (7033 tons). Export beet pulp (HS 230320) amounted to 20,505 tons, mainly to Italy - 10 493 tons.
BELARUS
As of April 25, 2018, total acreage of 62.6 thousand hectares was sown with sugar beet or 63.5% of the plan (in 2017 - 64.5 thousand hectares), according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
