The level of support is somewhere around 28.00 rubles per kilo, but with this downward trend, it seems that the market will not stop there. Market participants continue to complain about the lack of demand.

According to railway cargo monitoring data by Sugar.Ru in the second half of March, exports have grown a little, but volumes still leave much to be desired. In 29 days of March total 26 thousand tons of white sugar were delivered for export (in February – 51.3 thousand tons total). Deliveries to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are growing since the beginning of the year, but exports to Uzbekistan have dropped significantly - only 5.8 thousand tons. The decrease in Uzbek exports is due to the saturation of the local market with supplies for the previous months and exports from Kazakhstan, which bought at least one vessel of raw sugar. Besides, the transit of Ukrainian sugar to Uzbekistan through Russia increased, since the beginning of March it amounted to 20.9 thousand tons (in February – only 14.8 thousand tons).
