Sugar factories in Tatarstan have produced more than 258 thousand tons of sugar by December 19. "Zainsk Sugar" produced 134.8 thousand tons of sugar, "Buinsky Sugar" – 81.0 thousand tons, "Nurlat Sugar" – 42.5 thousand tons.

The production of refined beet sugar in Russia has reached 5.6 million tons in January-November 2017 which means an increase in production volume by 21.8% compared to 2016 season, Rosstat reported.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated December 19, 2017, total 21 vessels have been nominated to carry 737020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 675020 MT from 19 vessels, based on data.


According to the analysis of data by Statkom of the Republic of Belarus, production of sugar increased over the month by 30.04% in October 2017 and has made 159.3 thousand MT (in October 2016 - 173.5 thousand MT). Production of sugar in January-October 2017 decreased compared to the same period last year by 26,20% and has made 428 thousand MT (in 2016 - 581 thousand MT).
