RUSSIA

According to the operational data of Soyuzrossakhar, as of 04.12.2017 the sugar beet was harvested from the area of 1170.4 thousand hectares (99.1% of the crop acreage) with 50.9 million tons of sugar beet have been collected.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of December 1, 2017, sugar beet in the country was harvested from the area of 1156.5 thousand hectares or 98.3% of the harvest area due (in 2016 - 1.1 million hectares).

UKRAINE

According to Ukrstat, as of November 30, 2017, the average consumer price of sugar in Ukraine was 12.94 UAH/kg (or 27.97 rubles/kg at the Central Bank exchange rate for the reporting day), which is 2.47% less than the price of the previous observation date 10 days ago. Over the year (since November 30, 2016) sugar has decreased in price by 13.39%, in two years (since November 30, 2015) the price of sugar has decreased by 15.48%. The highest prices are observed in the Transcarpathian region - 13.52 UAH/kg, the lowest - in the Sumy region, 12.04 UAH/kg.

ARMENIA

According to the analysis of Statkom of Armenia, production of sugar in October 2017 has made 0.0 thousand tons (in October 2016 - 0.0 thousand tons, in October 2015 - 17.1 thousand tons). Total 49 thousand tons of sugar have been produced in January-October 2016 (since the beginning of 2016 - 54 thousand tons).
