According to Rosstat, the sale of sugar by large and medium-sized wholesale organizations increased to 296682.26 tons in October 2017 (+ 3.12% against the previous month and + 55.6% compared to October of previous year).

According to Rosstat, the sugar stocks with the wholesale trade companies increased to 82,754.18 tons in October 2017 (+ 5.76% against the previous month and + 8.86% compared to October of the previous year).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated November 28, 2017, total 21 vessels have been nominated to carry 737020 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 675020 MT from 19 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service data for January-September of 2017 the total volume of sales of sugar produced in the country amounted to UAH 8871.7 million (without VAT and excise tax) or about 1,9106 million rubles at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. Of which, the volume of sugar sold outside the country amounted to UAH 1024.8 million (about 2218.5 million rubles), which makes 11.6% of the total sales volume.
