RUSSIA

Farmers in Stavropol Territory have completed sugar beet harvesting. Total acreage harvested has made 34.8 thousand hectares; bulk volume collected makes 2205 thousand tons ay average yield of 63.302 MT/ha, the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports. The Isobilnensky Sugar Plant (OJSC “Stavropolsahar”) has received 610,000 tons of raw beet material from the beginning of the harvesting season, including 486,800 tons processed to date. The remainder makes 110,000 tons. Average sucrose content has made  16.1 percent.

KYRGYZSTAN

AccordingtoStatkom of Kyrgyzstan, conducted by Sugar.Ru, sugar production increased over the month by 241.47% in October 2017 and has made 17255.2 tons (in October 2016 - 12611.1 tons, in October 2015 - 9569.5 tons). Total 54497 tons of sugar have been produced since the beginning of 2017 (since the beginning of 2016 - 44890 tons).
 

BELARUS

As of 27 November, 2017, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 97,7 thousand hectares or 99,9% of the area sown (in 2016 - 94,3 thousand hectares), the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus informs. Bulk harvest makes 5003,7 thousand MT (in 2016 - 4314,9 thousand MT) of beets, with an average yield of 51.23 MT/ha (in 2016 – 45.75 MT/ha).

UKRAINE

By November 24, the volume of sugar beet harvested has made 14.0 million tons; average yield –  46.0 MT/ ha from an area of 306,000 hectares, which is 96% of 318 thousand hectares planned, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
