The Big Three (Prodimex, Rusagro, Dominant) either do not sell sugar, or offer prices higher than market prices. Looking at them, other companies raise their prices, sometimes changing them several times a day. At the same time, regional companies report difficulties with the purchase of sugar at "current prices", by the beginning of negotiations they are already irrelevant. In the morning on the market there are still individual offers in the range of 25-26 rubles per kilo, but there are reports of sales already at a price of 27 rubles per kilo.

GC "Rusagro" published the financial results of the sugar segment for the 3rd quarter and 9 months of 2017. For 9 months of 2017 advertising expenses have increased thanks to television advertising of sugar brands. During the same period, the Group made investments in the sugar segment - in the amount of 2464 million rubles (in 2016 there were 1731 million rubles).
UKRAINE
On November 1, 2017 production of sugar beet amounted to 9,193.3 thousand tons, which is 2.5% more than for the same date in 2016, according to Gosstat.
BELARUS
As of 17 November, 2017, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 97,4 thousand hectares or 99,7% of the area sown (in 2016 - 94,3 thousand hectares), the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus informs. Bulk harvest makes 4890,2 thousand MT (in 2016 - 4242,4 thousand MT) of beets, with an average yield of 501,9 MT / ha (in 2016 - 449,8 MT / ha).
UZBEKISTAN
"Uzbekozikovkatholding" has signed contracts with foreign partners on import of sugar and believes that all conditions for selling sugar to the population at a price not more than 5000 soums per kilogram are created. (37.17 rubles / kg). "
