RUSSIA

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated July 4, 2017, total 13 vessels have been nominated to carry 462 110 MT of raw cane sugar in 2017 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 292 410 MT from 8 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

UKRAINE

According to Ukrstat, the average consumer price of sugar in Ukraine was 16.38 UAH/kg as of June 30, 2017, (36.98 RUR/kg at the Central Bank exchange rate for the reporting day), which is 0.55% less than the price of the previous date of observation 10 days ago. Over the year (since June 30, 2016) sugar has grown in price by 13.51%; in two years (since June 30, 2015) the price of sugar has grown by 11.19%. KAZAKHSTAN

In June 2017, sugar prices from manufacturers increased by 0.8%; from the beginning of the year - decreased by 6.4%.

CUSTOMS UNION

The duty on the import of raw sugar to the Customs Union remained at US$ 227/MT in July 2017. Whereas in August 2017 the import duty will rise to US$ 240/ton.

ARMENIA

According to statistic committee data, total 39 020.0 tons of sugar was produced in Armenia in January-May 2017, which is 67.5% more than in the same period last year (23 300.0 tons).
