RUSSIA
The first Russian warehouse, which was granted access to sugar trading at the National Commodity Exchange, was a branch of the Valuikisakhar plant in the village of Chernyanka (part of the Rusagro Group). The Moscow Stock Exchange launched sugar trading a week ago. As a result of the first day of trade, total volume of deals concluded has made 3.1 million rubles for 100 tons of sugar. The buyer of sugar from GC "Rusagro" was the company "Bakaleyshik."

According to Rosstat, in Russia the consumer sugar prices fell by 0.5% from March 7 to March 13, 2017. Since early March consumer prices have dropped by 1.2%, and from the beginning of the year (compared to the end of December 2016) - by 7.1%.
UKRAINE
According to the State Fiscal Service, the export of water with sugar increased to 6 846 tons in February, compared to 4 353 tons exported in January. In January-February the exports amounted to 11.1 thousand tons. In December 2016 the export of water with sugar was 7 thousand tons.
