RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated February 2, 2016, total 48 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 578 800 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015/2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 393 800 MT from 43 vessels, based on sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
In the period February 1-10, 2016 the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will accept applications and set of papers required for participation in the auction to distribute the volume of sugar within quota "A" for production of sugar in the period from September 1, 2016 to September 1, 2017, as well as the redistribution of the volume of sugar produced under quota "A" in the period from September 1, 2015 – September 1, 2016.

As of February 1, 2016 the quota for duty-free supply of sugar from the EU is used in the volume of 20 000 MT (or 66% of total).
KAZAKHSTAN
According to the Statistics Agency, the domestic consumer prices for sugar increased by 3.2% in January 2016 compared to previous month, while in annual terms (January 2016 vs. January 2015) the growth has reached 23.8%.
