RUSSIA

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated January 12, 2016, total 45 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 461 884 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015/2016 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 1 242 800 MT from 38 vessels, based on Sugar.Ru data.

Agriholding "Razguliay" is ready to buy back shares at RUR 9.4 per share from shareholders who vote against the big deals or will not participate in the vote session, scheduled for February 16. Options of deals will be published later. Perhaps we are talking about assets that are of low interest to the agricultural holding shareholder – "Rusagro" group, which is interested only in sugar refineries in the Central Russia and in 100 000 hectares of land for the cultivation of sugar beet.

 
MOLDOVA

According to the Ministry of Economy, Moldova has utilized only 21% of quota for duty-free sugar exports to the EU in 2015. The quota for duty-free sugar exports to the EU in 2015 was limited to 37.4 thousand tons.
BELARUS

According to the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Belarus, consumer prices for sugar increased by 4.3% in December 2015; from the beginning of 2015 – by 32.1%.
