According to the monitoring of prices by sugar.ru in the period November 26 December 3, 2015, US dollar exchange rate has added 1.9% in favour of dollar (RUR 65.49/USD on November 26 vs. RUR 66.74/USD on December 3). Moscow wholesale RUR price of sugar rose by RUR 0.50/kg (+1.23%). During the same time period Krasnodar wholesale price of sugar has added RUR 0.90(+2.33%). In Moscow US dollar equivalent price of sugar decreased by US$ 0.004/kg (-0.65%), Krasnodar price of sugar added US$ 0.002/kg (+0.34%).
According to the Kazakh Statistics Agency, consumer prices for sugar increased by 1.3% in November 2015, and by 19.6% YTD.
According to the rail cargo monitoring data by Sugar.Ru, 183,200 tons of white sugar were delivered to Kazakhstan by rail transit Russian Federation in 11 months of 2015. The main suppliers were Moldova (55 800 tons) and Belarus (48 000 tons), but deliveries of Moldovan sugar to Kazakhstan have ended in October-November.
In the season 2015 of the Moldovan-German joint venture company “Sudzucker Moldova” has processed 379,100 tons of sugar beet and produced about 53,600 tons of beet sugar, said Alexander Koss, the speaker of the board of the joint venture.
Belarus agrarians plan to receive 4.8 million tons of sugar beets in 2016 season, according to Ministry of Agriculture.
