RUSSIA

Production of sugar beet in Russia amounted to 1.248 million tons in September 2015 and has grown by 12.8%, compared to September 2014, according to Rosstat.

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 20, 2015, total 33 vessels have been nominated to carry 1 071 330 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 921 580 MT from 29 vessels, based on sugar.ru
 
BELARUS

Sugar beet was harvested from an area of 70,400 hectares or 70.9% of the sown area by October 20, 2015 (in 2014 – 62 thousand hectares), according to Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. Collected 2,180,300 tons (in 2014 - 2781.1 thousand tons) of beets, with yields of 30.95 MT/ha (in 2014 – 44.84 MT/ha). The content of sucrose in sugar beet - 16.87% versus 16.33% on the same date last year.

Total exports of sugar from the Republic of Belarus to Kazakhstan and Russia has reached 228,400 tons by the end of 8 months (January-August 2015), according to the National Statistics Committee. Sugar exports to Kazakhstan made 32.9 thousand tons (15.6% less than in 2014) worth US$ 18 019 500; while exports to Russia make 195.5 thousand tons (10.3% less than in 2014) for the total value of  US$ 118 090 600
UKRAINE

According to the State Statistics Service, the volume of imports of goods listed under categories “Sugar and sugar confectionery” has amounted to 21,137,600 US dollars in January-August 2015, which is 48.2% less than in 2014. The value of exports in the same category has made 123,817,400 US dollars in January-August 2015, which is 31.6% more than in 2014.
