RUSSIA
An unnamed investor will launch idling Kurganinsky and Timashevsky sugar plants in 2016, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnodar Territory.

According Soyuzrossakhar data as of September 11, 2015, total volume of beet harvested from the beginning of the season makes 6 100 thousand tons and over 420 000 tons of sugar produced.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture figures dated September 10, 2015; sugar beet was harvested from an area of 187.6 thousand ha or 18.4% of the total crop acreage. Collected total 7.3 million MT, with average yields of 39.08 MT/ha.

UKRAINE
Farmers in Ternopil region started harvesting sugar beet. It was harvested from an area of 0.8 thousand hectares (5%). Collected 30.3 thousand tons of beet with an average yields of 38.0 MT/ha.
MOLDOVA
The National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova reports that in August 2015 the consumer prices for sugar have grown by 3.3%; from the beginning of the year the growth in consumer prices for sugar made 8.5%.
BELARUS
According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, the consumer prices for sugar have made average 12 442 Belarus Rubles per 1 kg in August 2015 (47.77 RUR/kg at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). It has grown by 51.09 Belarus Rubles, against July 2015.
KYRGYZSTAN
According to the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the consumer prices for sugar has increased by 1.9% in August 2015 compared to the previous month. The average consumer price of sugar in Kyrgyzstan has made 52.78 Kyrgyz Soms per 1 kg in August 2015 (54.36 RUR/kg at the current rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). From the beginning of 2015 recorded zero growth in consumer prices.
