RUSSIA

According to the report dated August 31, 2015 issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 92.1 thousand ha, or 9% of the crop acreage (in 2014 - 88.8 thousand hectares). Collected 3.7 (in 2014 - 3.5) million tons of beets, average yield makes 40.19 MT/ha (in 2014 – 39.27 MT/ha).

The Board of Directors of GC "Rusagro" has recommended to approve dividends for the first half of 2015, allotting 25% of net profit for the first half of 2015 or RUR 1 800 958 835.73 (US$ 27 091 090.96). As a result, the company will pay US$ 1.15 per share or US$ 0.23 per GDR (global depository receipts where 5 GDR = 1 share).

According Soyuzrossakhar data as of August 31, 2015, total volume of beet harvested from the beginning of the season makes 3 600 thousand tons (in 2014 – 3 260 000 MT) with over 420 000 tons of sugar produced (in 2014 – 382 000 MT). Sugar production rate has increased to 27 000 tons/day.

UKRAINE

According to Yaroslav Levitsky, analysts from information company "ProAgro", the production of sugar this year in Ukraine will be less (1.5-1.6 million tons) due to smaller crop acreage, but in October- November, sugar will likely become traditionally cheaper than US$ 10/kg (down by UAH 1.5-2/kg).

KAZAKHSTAN

According to the national Agency for Statistics, the consumer prices for sugar in Kazakhstan have increased by 4.1% in August 2015. From the beginning of the year the consumer price of sugar decreased by 4.7%.

KYRGYZSTAN

The import price of sugar fell by 23.6% in June 2015 (compared to June 2014) in Kyrgyzstan, according to the documents of the National Statistics Committee. In January-June 2015 the imports of sugar to the country has made total 64 400 tons; last year in the first 6 months of the year the republic has imported 30 800 tons of
