RUSSIA
According to Soyuzrossakhar, the dynamics of sugar beet development is as follows (as of August 21, 2015):
- weight of beet - 463 grams (in 2014 - 450 grams in 2013 - 509 grams);
- weight of foliage -392 grams (in 2014 - 287 grams in 2013 - 340 grams);
- sucrose content - 15.66% (2014 - 16.40%, in 2013 - 14.66%).
Soyuzrossahar has re-evaluated the volume of beet sugar production in the season of 2015-2016 and forecasts the level of production will be around 4.75- 4.85 million MT, which is 7.9% higher than last year.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture data dated 24 August, the sugar beet was harvested from the area of 20 300 hectares, or 2% of the area sown (in 2014 – 46 100 ha on same day). The volume of beet collected has made 742,600 tons (in 2014 - 1.9 mln MT), with average yield of 36.60 MT/ha (in 2014 – 41.22 MT/ha).

According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated August 25, 2015, total 29 vessel(s) have been nominated to carry 936630 MT of raw cane sugar in 2015 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 707430 MT from 22 vessel(s), based on sugar.ru data.
UKRAINE
Sugar production in Ukraine may reduce by 1 million tons to 1.1-1.2 million tons in September and August, according to Victor Ivanchyk, founder and shareholder of the largest sugar producers in Ukraine –"Astarta".
