RUSSIA
The Board of Directors of Group of Companies "RusAgro" has recommended the annual general meeting of shareholders to approve dividends for 2014 in the amount of RUR 5.063 billion, of which RUR 2 billion had been paid in the first half of the year already.
Over the past week (7 - 13 April) Russian consumer prices for sugar decreased by 0.9%; from the beginning of the year – grew by 15.3%, according to Rosstat.
Farmers in Ryazan region began seeding sugar beet, it is planned to sow about 7,000 hectares.
According to monitoring of regional prices by sugar.ru, in the period April 09-16, the exchange rate dollar/ruble has decreased by 6.5% (on Apr 09 – US$ 1 = RUR 54.03; on Apr 16 – US$ 1 = RUR 50.50) and prices have followed the declining dollar. Wholesale Moscow RUR price for sugar decreased by RUR 1.40/kg (- 3.37%), wholesale Krasnodar price has decreased by RUR 0.40/kg (- 1.03%). However, given the gap of the falling dollar, the ruble prices still have a substantial way to fall to catch up with exchange values. In the US dollar equivalent the prices fail to keep pace with the exchange rate, thus, Moscow price has added US$ 0.026/kg (+ 3.39%), Krasnodar price – US$ 0.042/kg (+ 5.83%).
UKRAINE
From the beginning of 2015 Ukraine has sold 2 860 tons of sugar in the framework of duty free quota issued by the European Union for the total volume of 20 070 tons.

By the results of 2014 operational year the 24 national sugar mills have produced 1.547 million tons of sugar in 2014. The undisputed leader in terms of production volume became agro-holding "Astarte" with the total 466.4 thousand tons of sugar manufactured, followed by "Radekhiv sugar" (278.3 thousand tons) and "Agroprodinvest" (220.3 thousand tons).

AZERBAIJAN
The volume of sugar production in Azerbaijan has decreased by 6.4% - down to 103.6 thousand tons in the 1st quarter of 2015, according to "Interfax-Azerbaijan".
BELARUS
According to the National Statistics Committee, the production of sugar in the country was 8.5 thousand tons in March 2015. In Q1 2015 the industrial production of sugar has made 85.6 thousand tons, a decrease of 27% compared to the same period in 2014.
