RUSSIA
As of October 8, 2021, sugar beets were harvested from 492.1 thousand hectares; bulk harvest makes 18.6 million tons.

The volume of white sugar exports from Russia (including trade with the EAEU countries) amounted to 228.3 thousand tons in January-July 2021. The major buyers are Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia, the Ministry of Agriculture reports with reference to the FCS.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the producer price of white sugar in September 2021 (excluding excises and VAT) increased by 1.06 % and amounted to 221419 Tenge/MT (in 2020 - 160321 Tenge/MT, in 2019 - 176304 Tenge/MT), or RUR 37773.42/MT (at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation by the middle of the reporting month).
