RUSSIA
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as of August 9, sugar beets were harvested from 6.5 thousand hectares (3.4%), the gross harvest is 254.6 thousand tons; average yield – 39.17 MT/ha.
BELARUS
According to the National Statistics Service, consumer prices for granulated sugar in the country decreased by 0.31% in July 2021 (against the previous month), and since the beginning of the year (against December 2020) - by 0.48%. The average consumer price for granulated sugar in July was 1.70 Belarusian rubles/kg (RUR 49.504/kg at the average rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for July 2021).
