RUSSIA
The «Progress Agro» Group of Companies (Krasnodar region) has started sugar beet harvesting campaign; the total sugar beet acreage of the company makes 10 thousand hectares. The first crop yield was 30.0 MT/ha, sucrose content - 16.5%. It is planned to reach yields at least 50-55 MT/ha.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the price of white beet sugar from industrial producers was RUR 36.00/kg (0.0% per week) as of July 28, 2021.
UKRAINE
According to the State Statistics Service, in January-June 2021, the total sales of sugar produced in Ukraine amounted to UAH 5922.7 million, excluding VAT and excise (RUR 15,907.12 million at the average rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for 2021).
EAEU
According to the official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission Iya Malkina, the area sown with sugar beet in the EAEU increased by 9.8% this year compared to 2020 and amounted to 1 million 135 thousand hectares. According to the Eurasian Sugar Association, Russia imported 37.5 thousand tons of sugar within the quota, Armenia - 21 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan - 10 thousand tons of raw sugar and 600 tons of white sugar.
