RUSSIA

Rostekhnadzor informs that hazardous production facilities of Dinsk-Sugar LLC are being operated without a permit, an administrative measure has been applied in the form of suspension of operation of hazardous production facilities.

UKRAINE

The National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine calls on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to prevent the endorsement of bill No. 5673 "On the establishment of a tariff quota for the import of white sugar into the customs territory of Ukraine." The letter notes that Ukraine today has sufficient sugar reserves to provide consumers with sugar and maintain stable prices for it. Also, Ukraine has already covered the possible shortage of sugar through imports.

UZBEKISTAN

On June 21-27, 2021, the average price for sugar of all categories at the exchange market increased from 7 650.4 thousand soums (52.29 thousand rubles to the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation) to 7 704.0 thousand soums (52, 66 thousand rubles) per ton, or 1%. According to the results of exchange trading, the weekly weighted average price for local sugar of the 3rd category amounted to 7,716.6 thousand soums (52.75 thousand rubles) per ton.
