RUSSIA
Sugar beet harvesting was completed on October 30, 2020 in the Stavropol Territory. The acreage harvested was 26.0 thousand hectares (100% of the forecast), the gross harvest made 860 thousand tons, with an average yield of 32.96 MT/ha, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports.

As of October 31, Tatarstan has processed 870 thousand tons of sugar beet and has produced 141 thousand tons of refined beet sugar.
UKRAINE
As of October 29, the farmers in the country have collected 4.4 million tons of sugar beet from the area of 105.6 thousand hectares (49% of the forecast), "Information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine" reports.
UZBEKISTAN
Consumer prices for granulated sugar in October 2020 increased by 9.8% compared to the previous month and by 15.7% compared to December 2019; for refined sugar in cubes – by 6.1% (13.4%), according to the State Statistics Committee.
