RUSSIA
Zainsky Sugar Plant, part of the Agrosila Holding, has started production of “Extra” quality sugar in the 2019-2020 production season. This category of superior quality assumes that the mass fraction of sucrose in the product is at least 99.8%, the color density of optical density units is not more than 45 ICUMSA. From the beginning of the production season, the plant has already produced 30 thousand tons of sugar of which 26 thousand tons are of Extra quality
UKRAINE
In January-August 2019 the total sales of sugar produced in the country amounted to UAH 6519.9 million, excluding VAT and excise tax (about RUR 16,135 million rubles at the average exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for 2019). Of which, the volume of sugar sold outside the country amounted to UAH 561.9 million (about RUR 1390 million), which is 8.6% of total sales.

In 2018/2019 MY (September-August) Ukrainian producers exported 409.8 thousand tons of sugar for the total amount of $ 144.3 million. This figure is almost 27% less than in the previous MY - 564.0 thousand tons, Ukrtsukor reports.
BELARUS
By October 4, 2019, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 39.6 thousand hectares or 42.2% of the area sown (in 2018 - 39 thousand hectares), Sugar.Ru was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus. About 1826.6 thousand MT (in 2018 - 1689.5 thousand MT) of beets were collected, with an average yield of 46.15 MT/ha (in 2018 – 43.31 MT/ha). The sugar content in beet in the republic is 16.5% versus 16.4% for the same date last year.
KYRGYZSTAN
Kyrgyzstan was able to fully provide the domestic market with own sugar. A rich harvest and modernization of production facilities have contributed, the local press reports.
