RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated March 5, 2019, total 19 vessels have been nominated to carry 685994 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018-2019 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 633194 MT from 18 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

Prices for sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and sweets increased by 0.7% in Russia and by an average of 1.1% in the EU in January 2019 compared to previous month, according to Rosstat.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the producer price of white sugar in February 2019 (excluding excises and VAT) increased by 0.01 % and amounted to 177878 Tenge/MT (in 2018 - 153200 Tenge/MT), or RUR 31365.05/MT (at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation by the middle of the reporting month).
