RUSSIA
According to the figures by Williams Brasil dated October 9, 2018, total 10 vessels have been nominated to carry 368894 MT of raw cane sugar in 2018 season from Brazilian seaports to the Black/Baltic seaports with end-receivers in CIS, Georgia and Baltic states. As of today, the volume received and unloaded makes 300894 MT from 8 vessels, based on Sugar.ru data.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 8, 2018, sugar beet was harvested from an area of 628.5 thousand hectares or 56.7% of the crop area (in 2017 - 640.8 thousand hectares).

According to Soyuzrossahar, 2.23 million tons of beet sugar was produced as of October 8, 2018. Daily sugar production is 56.0 thousand tons, which is 2.7 thousand tons more than last year on same date. About 18 million tons of sugar beet were procured compared to 20 million tons last year.
KAZAKHSTAN
According to Statkom of Kazakhstan, the wholesale price of white sugar in September 2018 has not changed 0.00% and amounted to 194 Tenge/kg (in 2017 - 209 Tenge/kg, in 2016 - 219 Tenge/kg), or RUR 35.43/kg (at the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation by the middle of the reporting month).
